Well, I thought I knew all the pearls there were, but I found an interesting "other pearl" on the internet yesterday. The Mustika Pearl is not made by mussels but by plants and animals. Who would have thought such a thing! They are found in Indonesia and are considered magical. While I have no intention of selling them on this website, I always like to share any information that pertains to the subject of Pearl Education with everyone. It's a sad time when thieves resort not only to stealing pearls but from endangered ones no less. This report came to my attention this morning and I wanted to pass it on to you. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/s...al/7697518.stm

Hopefully, those responsible will be apprehended and prosecuted to the fullest extent the law allows.
