Dubai to Host First-Ever Global Pearl Forum
Dubai has been in the news alot recently as it is becoming the next global home to import, export and now it is vying for being the leader in pearl production.
I'm sure they have the resources (money and knowledge) but I don't believe they can do this in the "short run". China has spent decades working their way into being considered a quality producing pearl country. It doesn't matter how much money you put into the pearl business, it still takes months and even years to produce pearls, whether low or high quality.
Here, at www.thepearlshoppe.com, we are open to new markets, but Dubai will have to offer more than just fluff and a pretty package to make it.
